Running can also be done indoors on a treadmill. Often times running outside is more rewarding as you also get a breath of fresh air not to mention the fact that you can get a friend or two to run with you for motivation. You can invest is a sturdy treadmill for running on those days that the weather outside is not favorable. A treadmill is also good because you can adjust the inclination and run like you are running up a hill. If there are no hills around where you live, then a treadmill will provide just the right challenge you need.
